As the number of students in Private High School overgrew, a separate school for girls came into existence in June 1967. This school was named Lokmanya Kanyavidyalaya. The same class-rooms held Private High School in one shift and this school in another. Some years later a new building was built, and, at last this school had a separate building.

Needs are endless, any kind of help is always welcome. So Shri. Madhav Narayan alias Bapusaheb Nene, the President of Pen Education Society, took a giant leap and donated one hundred and twenty five thousand rupees in his mother's name. As a result, Lokmanya  Kanyavidyalaya was renamed Sou. Manoramabai Narayan Nene Kanyavidyalaya, on April 11, 1983.

This school is proud of its students. A special mention has to be made here—Miss Suvarna Pandurang Kulkarni, a sixth standard student, received a National Award for Bravery at the hands of the President of India.
